Unsanctioned Piercings

No piercings for sexual lusts

What does the bible say about piercings what are lawful and what is questionable?

  • The body belongs to The Most High

1Corinthians 6:19-20

Linear logic

1.The body is described as God’s temple.

2.A temple is something meant to be honored and treated with reverence.

3.Deliberate alteration or harm to the body for sensual purposes could be seen as dishonoring the temple.

4. Genital or tongue piercings meant to enhance sexual pleasure violate this principle. It is meant for sexual stimulation or erotic display.

-------

Biblical warnings about sexual impurity

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5

Linear logic

1. We are told to avoid sexual lust and immorality.

2.Genital piercings are often associated with sexual stimulation or fetish culture.

3. If the motivation is lust, it may contradict this instruction.

4.Therefore such piercings are morally problematic.

--------

modesty and discipline of the body

Wisdom of Solomon 1:4

Linear logic

1. We are to have discipline over bodily desires.

2. Piercings intended to increase sexual attraction or stimulation could encourage lust.

3.Encouraging lust contradicts the call to self-control and purity.

4. Therefore such modifications inconsistent with biblical morality.

Piercings that are allowed

Genesis 24:22 (KJV) – Abraham’s servant gives Rebekah a nose ring.

Ezekiel 16:12 (KJV) – The Most High symbolically says He put a jewel on Israel’s forehead and rings in her ears.

Exodus 32:2 (KJV)

“Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters…”

Ezekiel 16:12 (KJV) “And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears…”

This symbolic passage describes The Most High adorned Israel with jewelry.

The premise here is that they were decorative, not sexual. And they were culturally normal in the ancient Near East.

This shows ear piercings were common among Israelites.

Example of A piercing commanded in the law

The law even described a ritual ear piercing for servants.

Exodus 21:6 (KJV)“His master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him for ever.”

Meaning:The ear piercing symbolized permanent loyalty.

So the Bible does not ban piercing itself.

The scriptures have that which were sanctioned by The Most High and those we can do, all others not mentioned should not be done. We thread on the side of caution to not offen The Most High.

----

marital sexual exclusivity

1Corinthians 7:3–4

Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.

The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband…”

Meaning:Sexual intimacy belongs within marriage.

The spouses share authority over each other’s bodies.

Linear reasoning

1.Sexual activity is reserved for husband and wife.

2.Intimate parts of the body are therefore meant for marital privacy.

3.A clitoral piercing involves exposure of very private anatomy to another person (the piercer).

4. The act in itself for someone to pierce you there violates marital exclusivity.

Now as woman or men there are some necessary medical procedures that require you to be exposed if you would to a practitioner, those are instances  eg midwives assisted women in childbirth.

physicians treated illnesses.

Beyond your control and means you are not actively seeking to break the law.

Some people may say but the piercer is only doing the transaction , we not engaging in anything. He is performing the service but you will be the one being operated on and who sis to say a touch does not  entice and when it is pierced that the person receiving does not climax

Another may say we'll both husband and wife agree sis how is it violating the laws of The Most High. Again we go back to someone else uncovering your nakedness.

What is the piercer is your husband and that is his work? Our people are just wicked, this goes back to sexual depravity and there are many different ways to please one another as man and wife. So Israel no don't do it.

Watch this Sirach 42:12

“Behold not every body's beauty, and sit not in the midst of women.”
